View Full Version : Site down, helpdesk not working, support@hostmonster.com doesnt accept messages

Hi there,

I've been trying to open a support ticket on the helpdesk but I keep getting the following error:

"XML error: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 88"

Then emailing support@hostmonster.com tells me I can't open a ticket by emailing there.

The following is the ticket I'm trying to open:

I have several domains hosted under the "thornham.org" account, for which all have been unavailable for at least the past hour (have used the spotcheck tool at http://www.alertra.com/ and they're unavailable from all cities in the test). The cPanel is also unavailable.

Please advise me of the cause of the downtime and when they are likely to be working again.

Is there anyone on this forum that can help me out? My telephone line doesn't allow outgoing international calls (not my decision on that unfortunately) and I'm in England.

My sites were down, and I got instant support with Live Chat at 4:00 in the morning. I was told the servers would be down for 2 1/2 hours for scheduled maintenance. Looks like they're back up now.

Thanks sjlplat - I called from another line and yep its scheduled maintenance for me also (although unfortunately my sites are still unavailable).

Hmmm would be nice if there was somewhere that told you of scheduled maintenance windows...

i receive downtime notification from server uptime monitoring service as well.
guess the whole centre was down that time :(
