Hi,
I hope it's ok to ask this question here. I've been asked to draft a "Condition of Use / Privacy information Statement" for a website I'm helping with. I've been checking other business web sites for an example. You guys are all great developers and can you direct me? Thanks to anyone who can help.

When you get to these pages, you have to be very careful on how you word them as they will get your company into great legal trouble if they aren't done correctly.
You should make sure to get management's approvaly of the content of these pages and better yet, get them to give you the parameters, like what information will be collected, how it will be used, etc.
Here is a good site that provides a good template for website privacy policies:
http://www.anu.edu.au/people/Roger.Clarke/DV/PST.html
Here is one that gives a template for both statements you are looking for.
http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/detail?type=RESOURCES&itemId=1076142035
Again, make sure you cover all your legal bases and make sure the statements pass standards for whatever country the business is in. You may have to talk to your management team, your supervisor, or a lawyer to get the proper answers.

Wow - this is touchy. I'll be very cautious. Thanks very much for advice.
