How do I move my Index.htm?

I'm trying to move my index.htm to the top of my public_html folder but it won't let me drag it there. Is there any other way?

Why do you want it at the top of the folder? The order of files and folders does not matter as far as the look of your website goes.

It also cannot be done. The order of each folder is alphabetical and folders are listed first; files are listed second.

I thought index.html had to be first for my website to come up automatically. Check it out at www.portraitdumonde.com, Why is it coming up like this?

I don't know what is going on now. I just clicked on the link in my previous post and my old website came up, not the one I updated. What is going on?

How is it coming up for you? I see a webpage with a black background and wedding pictures and kids for the header pic.

Yes I got it. I forgot that I had to take all my files out of the folder and transfer them. As for the old site coming up, I guess customer support put it back when they put my public_html folder back that I had deleted. Well all is well now. Thanks for all your time and help shadmego.
