Just some I think others might have. You may get a better response by answering these:

What type of ecommerce site are you wanting to set up? (What are you selling?)
What site do you want to emulate?
How soon do you need this set up?
Are you willing to pay the hosting costs? These seem to be pretty basic questions most web designers want to know before they consider taking a job.

I hope you find someone!

Thank you for your reply
I am setting up a dropshipping site
I just signed up with the 2 year plan on host monster.
chinavasion.com is the site I want my site to be similar to with a private forum added for sellers.
I am not in a big rush, with xmas comming on , I hope to have found someone and work out the details of some sort during xmas. I want the site fully working by the 1 of feb. plus The fact that my suppliers need time to do a complete item description with pictures of each of their products for my site. i do not expect to have full inventory details until after the new year .
so basicialy not a big rush right now due to xmas but i want to have the plan in place as soon as i can and here some fresh ideas .

I'm no expert, but I believe Hostmonster, via Fantastico, provides ecommerce programs that will do presicely what you want to do with your site. However, since you want to have a forum board as well, I would recommend a CMS called Joomla!.

I've done three sites with Joomla! so far and I have to say it is my choice for just about anything. You can install addon components to support a forum board, you can set it up to be a shopping site, you can set it up so that someone has to pay a subscription to access certain things, you can install plugin's that will interact with Paypal and other fund-transfer protocols. It is virtually limitless in it's capabilities.

What's better is that It is currently due for a new version release that simplifies the administration and enhances security and usability.

Read about it here: www.joomla.org (http://www.joomla.org).

The sites I have set up are still in the process of being fleshed-out, but the structure is there. I should tell you the sites I've done are Christian in nature, but it should still give you an idea of what you can do.

www.febconline.org (http://www.febconline.org) (My church website)
www.sagz4Christ.com (http://www.sagz4Christ.com) (my personal/ministry website)
--------------------------------------------------
This site is one I did completely from the ground up. It is tableless, completely valid html and css. There aren't many images, so it is very basic, but I did it for a class this past semester.

I would put money on there being better choices for you though.

Well, if you want to use Joomla! I am confident I can set it up. I can't speak confidently for any other system you may want to use. I will do some research this weekend on possibilities for you and pm you the results (hopefully Sunday night). It's important to know that your site won't look exactly like the one you mentioned, but it should be able to provide the same types of service.

Have a great weekend!

I think that the best solution would be to use a shopping-cart centered CMS for the shop, like ZenCart, and a independent forum system, like SMF for example. As you said that the forum would be for sellers you can create accounts manually for them and make it secret by only giving the URL to the sellers you want. That way you will have a full featured shop and forum instead of a half-featured mix, although I confess I don't know how good is Joomla for shopping-carts and forums!

Check out a shop I setted up for one of my clients using ZenCart (it's a spanish audio shop):

http://www.dopplermedia.com/tienda/

and this is the forum, using phpBB, although nowadays SMF is my forum system of choice:

http://www.dopplermedia.com/foro/

By the way, I'm not looking for job, I'm more than busy right now. And I honestly think that Shadmego is more than capable of doing this, using Joomla, ZenCart or whatever comes in the way :)

Actually, there are bridges available for Joomla! that port both pbpbb and SMF into the Joomla! system itself. You don't lose any functionality (I don't think) in the boards, and you have a single interface for users to access both the site and the boards. I'm familiar with pbpbb from an administrator's perspective, and with SMF from a user's point of view.

I feel the same way you do about using the actual programs for each section, but because the bridges in Joomla! work so well, I feel comfortable suggesting this as a possible approach.

By the way, I'm not looking for job, I'm more than busy right now. And I honestly think that Shadmego is more than capable of doing this, using Joomla, ZenCart or whatever comes in the way :)

It's funny you should say this because I actually had you in mind when I was putting money on other, more qualified designers! I thank you for the vote of confidence!!;)

I'm actually looking forward to this project.

If you haven't already done so, don't waste your money. The site you posted as an example is an OSCommerce website with just a few extra features installed.

You can go in your Fantastico Scripts page and install OSCommerce. It is fairly easy to customize. It can integrate paypal instant payment.

However, if you still want someone to do it, I can set up OSCommerce and would do it pretty cheap.
