DNS error

I have an external domain name and have set up the name servers as

ns1.hostmonster.com
ns2.hostmonster.com

but the whois lookup is saying that no ip address is associated with the name servers.

When i set up the domain through cpanel in hostmonster it shows something "nameserver disabled"

it may take up to 48 hours for the domain to propagate

I talked with them. They said it was aproblem with my registrar.
