Hi all,

If anyone has this program I need help with it. I firstly go to 'edit' then 'publish site settings'

Site name: ds-clan.net (http)
Website information: http://www.ds-clan.net
Publishing server: ftp://ds-clan.net/public_html/
Username: my db
password: my password

and after I open a web page, edit it and click on 'publish' it says the files are publishing..............

I only edited a little text and it still says "files are publishing..." for like 24 hours, then I stopped it.

Any help would be great thanks!

I never recommend using the built-in FTP function of HTML editors. Trying editing with NVU, save it and then use a dedicated FTP software like Filezilla to publish your files.

I ended up using these instructions ... and was successful ... http://helpdesk.hostmonster.com/kb/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&id=100 (http://helpdesk.hostmonster.com/kb/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&id=100)
Make sure you upload to the public_html folder and Remember to remove/rename the default.html file.

That should get you started.

There is an extension for FireFox called FireFTP (I think). It is a icon on your broswer that loads up FireFTP and it is almost identical in operation to CuteFTP.

I agree NVU's ftp client isn't reliable. A stand alone ftp client is a no-brainer solution to your problem.
