Beautiful service, but one single defect, the antivirus absent.
It would be one of the best services than Hosting if an antivirus is comprised.

Today it is essential!.

Not task that to slow down the mail service is better than be protect.

I don't see how difficult it is to scan for viruses on your own. There are a number of free antivirus out there, such as AVG Free edition and AntiVir Guard. It's really your own responsibility to ensure that your system is free of virus.

Besides, if hostmonster provides virus scanning service and then one slips through, people are going to complain. If they don't provide the service, people complain. They provide it and people will still complain.

virus scanning is a trivial thing? yeah, that's real practical!
that's why every hosting site offers it! let's scan every single
document that's uploaded. get real!

Yes, According to me this service is essential, would carry hostmonster to the TOP of the services offers. ;)

Antivirus and antiSpam would have to be one only thing installed on the server.

Unfortunately if we were to start scanning email for virus's it would generate an imense load on the servers and slow email down and possibly the box itself. Plus from past experience its not perfect, you still get virus's that sneak past till your definitions are updated. Your best bet is to use client side software and there are some good ones out there.
