MySQL Help!!

I m going to start learning PHP using Dreamweaver, so i want to know that do i have to install mysql on my computer or i can use the mysql provided by hostmonster n if i can use hostmonster mysql then how to edit information in it as i tried but failed n also tell me which one is bewtter - install mysql on computer n then use or use hostmonster mysql n plz answer with keeping in mind that i m new to this stuff - database n i know html i now i m starting php.

Installing and configuring a webserver on your computer might not be very easy if you're not sure what you are doing or haven't done it before. It's the perfect development area though, so if you can get a hold of a guide that will help you install it then go for it. Search on google.

However you might as well work on your hostmonster space, the exception would be that you need to transfer your files on there and then run them.
