I want convert avi to flv, due hostmonster doesn't suport FFMPEG I found an alternative: MPlayer.
Is allowed install MPlayer in hostmonster?

You can try to install it, via SSH, but it's not guaranteed to work. First try at home in a linux box and if you manage to get it going for recoding then try to do the same steps on the server.
Also keep in mind that recoding videos is a very CPU-intensive proccess and there are high chances that your account will be locked due to CPU overuse, specially if it's a long video. It can be unlocked again, don't worry, but that would mean that even if Mplayer works you won't be able to use it in a shared hosting enviroment like Hostmonster's
