I am trying to set up DotNetNuke so i can quikly get a site up and running, it is not working so well. It apears that the site is not running the asp and aspx files. I have added .asp and .aspx to "server-parsed" in apache and it still does not run. Does anyone know hwat is going on and how to get it to work? (no i do not want to use php)

From what I gather DotNetNuke requires ASP thats not available here at Hostmonster. You will need to host this on a Windows server with the supported version of ASP installed. Hostmonster servers are powered by linux.

I did not realize this was a Linux server, thank you!

Maybe in some time Mono will be able to run ASP.NET scripts out of the box on Linux, but nowadays... it's still a dream! :(

In any case, you have good options on Hostmonster, like PHP, Perl and Ruby on Rails for your scripts.

I reccomend Php-Evolution for a quick and easy website its based on PHP-Nuke but has alot better options + Sentenal Hacker Protection, dont know if it works but it tells you if it catches a hacker so far ive caught 0 but maybe one day ill get one =P
