Installin a new extension for my PHP - Help?

I need install a new extension for my PHP, it is ssh2_connection I have the .so for Linux to install it but I don't know how to do it.

I need install the extension for solve this problem:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function ssh2_connect() in /home/netherg1/public_html/ssh/index.php on line 2

Somebody can help me?

UPDATE:

When I try to install Perl SHH2 protocol from CPANEL I get the following error:

Either libSSH2 is not installed, or it is installed incorrectly. LibSSH2 is
required by Net::SSH2. You can download it from http://www.libssh2.org; you
may also need OpenSSL, which can be obtained from http://www.openssl.org.

Quitting since I can't find libssh2 or libssh2.h at Makefile.PL line 42.
No 'Makefile' created DBROBINS/Net-SSH2-0.18.tar.gz
/scripts/cpan_sandbox/x86_64/perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=/home/netherg1/perl/usr OTHERLDFLAGS=-L/usr/lib64 LDFLAGS=-L/usr/lib64 EXTRALIBDIR=/usr/lib64 -- NOT OK
Running make install
Make had some problems, won't install
perlmod--Install done

But I cant' fix it, please help me.

Best thing to do is contact support and see if they are willing to install the extension.
