User Management?

Is there a simple package for user management that makes identities and customizable attributes of logged-in users available to scripts? I don't see one listed in Fantastico, outside of the CMS listings. Do others here just go with Joomia for user management?

I go with Joomla. But if you want, just check out the forums of the other systems and find what's best for you.
