Bulletin Board

Can anybody point me to the Bulletin Board feature that Hostmonster offers. I do not see it in the CP.Thanks

Using the CPanel program called Fantastico, you can install several Bulletin Board programs. Two of the more popular programs are SMF (Simple Machines Forum) and phpbb (php Bulletin Board). Both offer full-blown forum features and a ton of admin controls.

Each also offer very a very active user community that offers free themes, mods, hacks, and addons that will extend the feature sets of each one.

If you log into the CPanel and look for the blue smiley face with the word " Fantastico " under it, you can look in there for all kinds of programs with auto installers.

I strongly recommend before you install a bulletin board that you go to the support forums and read about the program you want to install. You should try to find the strengths and weaknesses of each one and which one offers more of what you need by default. The more you add on, the harder it will be to upgrade in the future.
