HI, I can get into my email and all but when I send mail (I've tested this out by sending to two of my other non host monster accounts) to my other email it doesn't work. When I send mail from my reg. email to my host monster account it doesn't work. I'm probly overlooking something really simple but could someone help me figure it out please? Thank you.:o

I am suspecting that you are using the webmail function. I just tried using horde to log into my account and it doesn't seem to be able to retrieve my mails, which are obviously in the server because the php email program I installed, roundcube, was able to allow me to read and send my emails.
Worse of all, there is no option for me to set the mail server settings, so I am not sure where's the problem :(

okay, maybe I'll just set up a diff email from a my usual account, I really just wish I could get one (a free one) with @mydomainame.com that would be cool. But, we'll see. It'd be nice if the host monster stuff worked out all the way but I guesse all good things have bugs.

Did you setup your mail client to use the "Proper" Login name. I had this problem. For example if I set up an account for "ME' the Login user name is not ME but is "ME+mydomain.com". I have set up a number of email accounts on both my primary domain and my add on domains and use Pocomail and Outlook to access them and they have worked just fine. Hope this helps.

I didn't have a problem using a web based email client that I installed myself. That email client is called RoundCube and there are instructions on how to install in the Hostmonster help knowledge database. You can try that one and see if it works.
