download very slow

Hallo,

i have 16Mbit/s ADSL.

If i download a file, the speed is circa also on average 1700 Kb/s.

I want test my hostmonster Account.

If i download a rar file -->50mb by hostmonster also by my Homepage,
the speed is 15kb ord 20kb. :(

Why?

I think, their is a limit, its that right?

As far as the download/upload speeds are concerned, I have the same problem. I regularly upload files that are on average 40-60MB in size at speeds approaching 40kb/s. I've seen posts that deal with this subject here, so a search should help you out there.

In regards to your photo ID problem, you should understand this forum is intended to be for user-to-user support. Employees of HM rarely, if ever, come here with the exception of RDM. He does have his limitations on what he can do for you though. He is more support for the forums and not the web hosting side. I am not sure he can make account changes for you.

I have opened 2 tickets for ssh :)

Also my big problem is the speed for downlod and upload. I am since Wednesday member here by hm. I will open a ticket for the speed now.

I can not see the Hotlinking function in my cpanel.
