Try support. Let me know the results of your experiment. I was wondering whether to try it out but since I already installed a nice webmail on my own, I decided not to.

I use roundcube mail. You can learn more about how to install it manually from here. (http://helpdesk.hostmonster.com/kb/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&root=22&id=258)

I've been looking into it and have actually downloaded it but I don't have winxip and that provided a problem for me, still working on it. Thanks a ton!

After hearing you speak so highly of it, I thought I'd give it a try. I followed all the instructions provided by HM, but it appears the beta 2 release requires mod_php to use it as-is. I managed to figure out a workaround by replacing the .htaccess in the main directory with a basic noindex file.
I do like it better than horde or squirrelmail. Thanks for the referral. :)

I like the user interface alot. It's so much better than squirrel or horde. I'm looking forward to its development towards full maturity.
Glad that my recommendation helped!

Roundmail looks good from the demo, but one thing I don't like is the lack of support for digital signatures.
Very important to me. Either GnuPG or S/mime ... I didn't see any options for installing the keys.
Everything else looks good though.

Hey Shadmego, how about submitting a request for digital signatures? If you are really into that, you can even volunteer helping out. I'm sure they'll welcome help.

I would love to help out, but I'm the farthest thing from a programmer. The learning curve for me to be of any use to them would be much too great. Plus, I have to concentrate on school right now.
Maybe someday ...
