Default Unlimited Domains - How much is ech to add?

How much is it to add an additional domain? OK. They say "unlimited domains," but I assume it is not free. So when i open an account with hostmomster, and want to add 2 more domains to the same account, how much will I pay for each?

This will be the deciding factor for me to buy or not to but this plan.

    Thank you

Hey thanx for the answer McCoy!!

Do you know anything about subdomains? Are they totally free to add as many as you want or do they charge anything for each additional subdomain?

Subdomains are free, and you can have a maximum, of 999 subdomains, or at least that's what the account info in Cpanel shows, if you need more maybe you can request it through support as in the features offered by hostmonster they say "subdomains: unlimited".

Hostmonster's additional domains cost $10. If you do your homework, there are other companies offering domains at a cheaper price. You can buy from those companies and then point the nameservers to Hostmonster. Of course, it's more convenient to have everything by Hostmonster, but I figure that if I made a 35% savings per domain name, and I have many add-on domains, I rather live with the hassle.

Wait! So does this mean that you only need to pay for the domain registration fee, which is $10? No additional fees for hosting that extra domain?... If so, this is greeeeeeeeeeaaaattt!!

Coz in my current package, they said I can host 6 domains in 1 package. Yeah, I can, but the thing is that, for each additional domain you want, there is $14 for domain registration and $12 for hosting.

So when I host with hostmonster, I don't pay the hosting fee, but just pay the domain registration fee, which is $10? And does this mean that if I just transfer the domains that I already have to Hostmonster accound, I would not pay that $10 even?

    Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaasssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee answeeeeeeerrrrrrr

And thanx sooo much to those who answered my previosu questions!

I think you are correct, but just to be sure, I would call Hostmonster at (866) 573-4678 to verify. Better safe than sorry.

Yes vex, all that you said is 100% correct. You will only have to pay $10 yearly for each additional domain, that's all.

If you transfer a domain it's free and they will carry on with the remaining time you had with that domain in your original registrar. After that time is finished they will charge you the mandatory $10 to keep the domain for another year.

Hey thanx a lot for the answers guys!! I think I will host with Hostmonster, then! They are waaaaaaaaaaay better than my current host, which is just rippers. They even charge $18 for subdomains for each domain. (It's Globat if you are wondering). Plus, each additional domain costs like $26 (12+14).

    Thanks!!
