    Default Magento too slow to use

    My Megento install (I used SimpleScripts) is extremely slow. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the problem and also if you have found solutions that worked.

    I just tried increasing the PHP memory limit in the php.ini file (from 30MB to 128MB) but that doesn't seem to have helped any.

    Cool Memcache or File-based caching

    I had that same problem until I got Lightspeed. Not the cheapest module, but well worth it. The whole-page caching that it does hardly makes my severs work at all. store.delorumcommerce.com
